Demo privacy notice

This is a software demonstration. Please use invented details and keep real personal or sensitive information out of the demo.

What the demonstration stores

When you submit an order, reservation or other form, the demonstration may store the information you enter. Depending on the flow, this can include a name, email address, phone number, delivery address or postcode, table, chosen dishes and options, quantities, order notes, reservation time, party size and status history.

The system also records the related technical and operational information needed to run those workflows, such as order or reservation references, timestamps, the selected service, totals, consent records and changes made by staff. If you create a test account, WordPress stores its account information and authentication data.

Browser sessions and private links

The ordering experience uses browser sessions, cookies and browser storage for security, the bag, selected service, table context and recovery of an in-progress order. Order and reservation management links can grant access to the associated record. Treat those links as private and do not share them with people who should not see that demo record.

The hosting environment may also process technical request information, such as IP addresses, browser information and server logs. This notice does not promise that a browser session is anonymous.

Why these records exist

The information supports the software demonstration: showing checkout, service scheduling, staff order management, tracking, table reservations, receipt and email previews, and reporting. The operator and authorised presenters can access demo records through the staff system.

No food is prepared or delivered and no real payment is collected. TableLane order and reservation email notifications are intentionally disabled; their designs are available as previews. Separate WordPress account registration and recovery functions can have their own email behaviour.

Hosting and connected services

This WordPress demonstration is hosted on Hostinger and uses Cloudflare-managed DNS for its domain. Features that need another provider or device, such as Stripe card payments or physical printing, require their own authentic connection and setup. This demo does not ask you to enter card details or prove that any physical printing has occurred.

The dish photographs are generated illustrations of the fictional menu. Dietary and allergen information is also sample content and should not be used to communicate real health or allergy requirements.

How long demo information stays

Demo records may remain until the operator clears them. Content and records may also be changed or removed as the demonstration is maintained. Do not use this website as a permanent store for information, and do not assume a test submission is erased when you close your browser.

If you entered real information

Contact the presenter or operator who gave you access to the demonstration and identify the relevant order or reservation reference where possible. The menu also provides a data-request entry point; any verification or account email depends on the configured WordPress and mail services. Avoid sending more sensitive information in a request.

This notice describes the demo’s intended operation. It is not a production restaurant privacy template or a declaration that every legal or regulatory requirement has been assessed.
